Swap
Using the Zenlink Eden App involves the following main operations: Swap (PT, YT, (Un)warp), Mint (Mint, Redeem), Add, Remove, Lock, Vote, Boost Rewards, and Claim Rewards. Detailed guides for all operations are provided below.
Swap
Buy PT to Earn Fixed Yield
Visit the Zenlink Eden Market: https://app.zenlink.pro/market
Click on the PT box to select the asset you want.
Ensure you are on the “Swap-PT” tab, then select your input asset.
Enter the amount. You can control the slippage tolerance by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner (lower slippage might cause transaction failure for large trades).
Confirm the information, click Swap, approve, and submit the transaction.
You have now successfully purchased PT and will earn fixed yield (redeemable 1:1 for the underlying asset at maturity, e.g., 1 PT-vDOT = 1 DOT at maturity). To sell PT, perform the reverse operation to swap PT for the underlying yield-bearing asset.
Buy YT to Enhance Your Yield Exposure
Visit the Zenlink Eden Market: https://app.zenlink.pro/market
Click on the YT box to select the asset you want.
Ensure you are on the “Swap-YT” tab, then select your input asset.
Enter the amount. You can control the slippage tolerance by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner (lower slippage might cause transaction failure for large trades).
Confirm the information, click Swap, approve, and submit the transaction.
You have now successfully purchased YT, establishing a long position on yield. You will continuously accumulate yield until maturity, which you can redeem by clicking "Redeem All" under the My Rewards tab.
Note: The yield accumulated from holding YT will be distributed in the form of SY. After claiming the yield, you will need to use the (Un)warp function to unwrap it into the underlying yield-bearing asset, e.g., SY-vDOT → vDOT. Refer to the next section for the operation guide.
To sell YT, perform the reverse operation to swap YT for the underlying yield-bearing asset.
Wrap/Unwrap Assets - (Un)wrap
Wrap
Generally, users do not need to use the (Un)wrap function manually. All operations that involve wrapping yield-bearing tokens into SY are automatically executed by the protocol during the Swap process, requiring no manual intervention.
To wrap assets, switch to the Swap-(Un)wrap tab, select the asset you want to wrap into SY, and enter the amount. Verify the information, click “Wrap,” approve, and submit the transaction.
Unwrap
Since the interest accrued by YT from the underlying yield-bearing assets is distributed through SY tokens, users will need to use the “Unwrap” function to convert SY back into yield-bearing assets after claiming YT interest or to perform other operations like providing liquidity.
To unwrap assets, switch to the Swap-(Un)warp tab, select the SY asset you want to unwrap into the underlying yield-bearing asset, and enter the amount. Verify the information, click “Unwrap,” approve, and submit the transaction.
